1. Click the Task tab.
2. Expand the Create Message pulldown.
3. Choose the appropriate message type.
4. Optional: Fill in other message properties.
5. Click the Save button.

You can't close a task if:

• You do not have permissions to add messages for the task (Current User -> Statuses... menu item).
• The option is unavailable in the current task state. To see available message types:
  1. Click the Current task -> Workflow... menu item.
  2. Click the task's workflow.
  3. Click the Message Types tab.
