This topic describes how to update from TrackStudio 3.1.x to TrackStudio 3.1.y.
Description
To update TrackStudio WAR:
- Download the latest TrackStudio WAR.
- Re-deploy the TrackStudio WAR.
To update the TrackStudio SA:
- Download the latest TrackStudio SA.
- Stop the TrackStudio 3.1.x instance.
- Un-install Windows services if used:
>hsqlService /uninstall >jettyService /uninstall
- Install the TrackStudio 3.1.y to a separate directory.
- Configure TrackStudio database, e-mail notification, e-mail submission and LDAP properties.
- Ensure that you set the correct Upload directory path.
- Clean the Index directory content.
- Start TrackStudio 3.1.y
- Minor version upgrades (3.1.x->3.1.y) do not require database upgrade.
- The SA and WAR versions use the same database scheme and differ only in the distributed components – no special actions are required to transfer the data between the WAR and SA versions.
